Python RPA General Terms of Use

 

These General Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Python RPA Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of our RPA platform and services.

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Definitions

• “Platform” means Python RPA’s robotic process automation software platform and related services
• “Services” means our Platform, documentation, support, and related offerings
• “You” or “Customer” means any individual or organization using our Platform
• “Automation” means the workflows, bots, and processes you create using our Platform
• “Personal Data” means information that can identify a natural person

2. Eligibility and Account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use our Platform
• If using our Platform on behalf of a company, you must have authority to bind that company
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You may only create one account per user

3. License to Use Platform

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our Platform during your subscription period. This license is revocable and does not give you ownership of our Platform or its underlying technology.

4. Your Data and Automations

• Your Ownership: You retain full ownership of all data, automations, and workflows you create
• No Storage: We do not store, retain, or have access to your business data processed through the Platform
• Local Processing: All your data remains within your systems and infrastructure
• Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for:
  • Backing up your automations and configurations
  • Ensuring your data handling complies with applicable laws
  • Securing your systems and data

5. Privacy and Data Protection

• We only collect account information necessary to provide the Platform
• We do not access or store your business data or automation content
• You are responsible for complying with all applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) when using our Platform
• Our Platform processes data locally on your systems

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use our Platform only for lawful business purposes
• Not use the Platform to create automations that violate laws or regulations
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of our Platform
• Not interfere with or disrupt our Platform or other users’ access
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding data processing and automation

7. Subscription and Payment

• Our Platform is provided on a subscription basis
• Subscription fees are due according to your chosen billing cycle
• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
• We may change subscription fees with 30 days’ written notice
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access

8. Platform Availability and Support

• We strive to maintain high platform availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
• We provide support according to your subscription level
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects platform availability
• We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance

9. Disclaimers

• Our Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We do not warrant that the Platform will meet your specific requirements
• We are not responsible for the performance or results of your automations
• You use our Platform at your own risk

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Platform in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for any business losses, data loss, or automation failures
• You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Platform

11. Intellectual Property

• We retain all rights to our Platform and its underlying technology
• You retain all rights to your automations and data
• You grant us no rights to your business data or proprietary processes
• Our Platform may include third-party components subject to separate licenses

12. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms
• Upon termination:
  • Your access to the Platform will cease
  • You retain all rights to your automations and data
  • You should export any configurations you wish to preserve

13. Service Changes

• We may update or modify the Platform to improve functionality
• We will provide reasonable notice of material changes
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Platform

15. Updates to Terms
