Before: The accountant of a pharmaceutical distributor spent about 12 hours each month reconciling VAT data in the ERP system and the government’s e-invoice system. Inconsistencies could result in penalties from tax authorities.
Now: RPA Bot reconciles e-invoices from the government e-invoice portal with data in the ERP system at the end of each month before closing the period. The bot automatically indicates any discrepancies and sends an email to the accounting department for processing.
