Before: The accountant at a microfinance company manually reconciled data in the accounting system with monthly reports provided by the collection company, which contained data on borrower repayments. The accountant then compared the results of the reconciliation to detect any discrepancies in payment amounts and sent the report to the collection company for double-checking. This process took the accountant more than 3 hours and was prone to errors due to the large volume of data.
Now: The RPA Bot receives a monthly report by email from the collection company and performs the reconciliation, sending the results to the accountant and collection company for review.
